I thought I would start doing some updates specific to how the studio is coming along. It will be nice to be able to look back and see progress over a longer period of time as often I think not much is happening. When I look at progress over months or even a year it puts things into better prospective. Not much has changed in the last few weeks inside the studio. I am working on the counter top for the guest bathroom and you can see it on the table. I also cut out a spot for a small work area where the counter tops are going to be. Other than that the place is a mess, you can see that I still don’t have a place for everything. It is coming along though. Another few months and it should be much more organized. I am looking forward to starting the Mastery program with Milan Art Institute. I am also pretty nervous as I know a big part of growth is failure. I am an artist and very visual in nature which means my failures will be in the form of creations that are difficult to look at. Yikes! That is a difficult thing but I am committed to sharing those, especially those because in the end it will help someone. I think everyone knows they can make something beautiful, those are easy to share. What takes more courage is sharing the ugly. So, thumbs up to making something ugly and learning in the process. Cheerio!
