Happy Memorial Day!
What a crazy last two weeks it has been here in the panhandle of Nebraska. Schools out. One would think I now would have an amazing amount of free time. I do not. Not being in school did CHANGE the time picture though and has allowed me to redirect some of that energy to the studio. Learning more about AI and art creation get top priority for the first light of break.
First, diving deeper into finding ways to use AI and still retain my personal voice. I strongly believe that to stay competitive in the new and emerging digital marketplace that we need to learn new skills. Understanding and working with AI can help to retain relevency and a stable business platform. It is key to up-skill and re-skill. That would also include bolstering up those competencies that are uniquely human like emotional intelligence and creativity.
Here are several ways to grow with the tech developments of our time. These first three were offered by the new AI driven Bing.
This next few from Chat GpT:
- Collaboration with AI: Some artists are exploring the possibilities of creating art in collaboration with AI. This can result in unique works that combine human creativity with AI capabilities.
- Digital Marketing: With the rise of digital platforms, knowing how to market oneself online is a crucial skill for artists. This can involve understanding social media, SEO, email marketing, and other digital marketing strategies.
- Data Analysis: Learning to analyze and interpret data can be useful for artists, especially in terms of understanding their audience and market trends. This can involve learning about data analysis tools and techniques.
- Continuous Learning: Given the rapid pace of technological change, it is important for artists to commit to lifelong learning. This can mean regularly taking courses, attending workshops, or reading up on the latest trends and technologies.
Something that has not changed other than being more important than ever...continuous learning and embracing a growth mindset. Invest time into you, cultivate an attitude of life-long learning if you haven't already. These are exciting AND scary times. I choose to focus on the excitement. What about you? Drop me a line and let me know what you are thinking.
